A Word From Your Dentist:

Hello! Thank you for taking the time to view my website. Let me introduce myself:

Raised in the Richardson/Plano area from birth, I know this is a wonderful, warm community in which to build my practice. I attended Plano ISD from elementary school through senior high, and from there I earned my bachelor of science at the University of Texas at Dallas and my Doctorate of Dental Surgery at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas. My husband and I have two young boys who keep us on our toes. Together, we enjoy hiking and bird watching, which is why I love our dental office with the beautiful views of trees and birds (and the occasional bobcat, rat snake and coyote) from each room. (I have posted pictures of the critters on my Facebook fanpage.)

I am committed to having a high quality, relaxing dental office where the entire family can receive dental care. I enjoy working with both adults and children. Our office has a children’s waiting room with toys and video games so that children have a fun experience when coming to our office. I believe good, routine preventative care is the most important step in healthy teeth. Also, I once experienced dental trauma from a motor vehicle accident, so I understand patients’ need for a caring and competent dentist during emergencies.

I encourage you to call our office and speak with Chris Roos (a.k.a. Chris Up Front) to schedule a cleaning with our wonderful, friendly hygienists, Jessica and EJ, or to make an appointment to meet me. We are currently accepting new patients and the best compliment our office receives is when you refer friends and family. My entire staff and I look forward to meeting you and your family.

Chris Roos, Scheduling and Insurance Coordinator

Chris is our professional expert. She has 16 years of experience in administration and has been with our dental practice for over a decade. On a daily basis, Chris makes appointments, greets our patients, and electronically files insurance claims. She is an essential part of our practice, and we value her dedication and skill. Chris knows our patients on a personal level, and their smiling faces make her job rewarding. She and her husband, Roy, have three children: Nicholas 22, Jacob 20, and Maria 18. In her free time, Chris enjoys traveling, camping, making home improvements, and spending time with her family.

Jessica Long, Registered Dental Hygienist

As your dental hygienist, Jessica will provide you with exceptional oral healthcare. She has eight years of experience in the dental field and loves the personal relationships she develops with our patients. In addition to meticulously cleaning teeth, Jessica educates our patients on proper hygiene techniques and recommends the latest dental products. She loves working in our office because of our friendly, laid-back environment and our close-knit community of professionals. When Jessica’s not providing comprehensive oral healthcare, she enjoys skiing, traveling, and spending time with her nieces and nephews.

E.J. Burns, Registered Dental Hygienist

E.J. has over 20 years of experience as a dental hygienist. She is an expert at motivating patients when it comes to maintaining their teeth at home. Preventive care is an essential part of our practice, and E.J.’s dedication helps move us closer to our goal of providing Plano residents with lifelong care for the whole family. We love E.J.’s upbeat personality, which contributes to our stress-free work environment. E.J. has three wonderful daughters: Ashley, Nicole, and Lauren. In her free time, she enjoys travelling, shopping, reading, scrapbooking, listening to music, and decorating her home.

Melissa Medders, Registered Dental Assistant

With over a decade of experience as a dental assistant, Melissa brings a wealth of knowledge to our dental practice. Her natural ability to read patients results in well-executed dental procedures. She and Dr. Bork maintain an open line of communication so that everyone feels comfortable before, during, and after a treatment. Our smiling patients give Melissa a great sense of job satisfaction. Melissa keeps busy with three children, two girls and one boy, and two dogs, Sadie and Oreo. In her free time, Melissa enjoys taking pictures of nature, which is why she loves the scenic view our office overlooks.
